- ➤ Calallen ISD dedicated its softball field to Teresa Flores Lentz on Saturday, Jan. 31, honoring her 14 years leading the Lady Wildcats to three state championships. The ceremony recognized her historic win — she became the first coach in Texas to claim three titles in a row. KRIS 6 News

SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Taft ISD opened new baseball and softball fields on Jan. 30 in Taft (the fields feature new dugouts, bleachers and an LED scoreboard).
