- ➤ VMart hosts a free Lunar New Year Festival on Saturday, Feb. 14 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 3809 Airline Rd where families enjoy lion dances, ice skating, horse rides and food trucks while celebrating the Year of the Horse on Valentine’s Day. KRIS 6 News
- ➤ CASA of the Coastal Bend announced that CEO Page Hall will retire after nearly 30 years of service supporting foster children. Hall will remain with the organization until a new CEO is named (with 4,000 children served under her leadership) in Aransas and Nueces counties. KRIS 6 News

- ➤ Corpus Christi churches will hold Ash Wednesday services and drive-thru ashes-to-go on Feb. 18 as the Lenten season begins, offering multiple service times at locations such as All Saints' Episcopal Church on S. Staples St. and other churches across town. Caller Times
