- ➤ A school nurse in Odem revived a man shocked while working on stadium lights at a local baseball field using an AED (Sheriff Oscar Rivera called her quick actions lifesaving). KIII-TV
- ➤ Between Feb. 1 and Feb. 11, health inspectors in Corpus Christi found six restaurants with scores below 90, with Agave Jalisco on Ayers Street scoring 79 after multiple health violations including improper toxin storage, while over 90 establishments were inspected and 38 received perfect scores.
