EDUCATION NEWS

  • Del Mar College hosted Discover Day today, drawing over 800 Coastal Bend students to explore high-demand career paths and affordable education options. College officials say the event aimed to connect students with growing local workforce opportunities (practical pathways for success).  KIII-TV
  • Grant Middle School informed parents on March 26 when a student brought a 3D-printed airsoft gun to campus; officials clarified the item was considered a toy and said disciplinary action under the Student Code of Conduct will follow — school counselors are available for student support.  Caller Times
