- ➤ Corpus Christi icon Dr. Gloria Scott fought in 2005 to save Solomon M. Coles High School from closing and protect its role in offering education to Black students. Today the historic landmark serves as an alternative school that gives students a second chance. Action 10 News
- ➤ The Oso Bay Wetlands Learning Center stays open after receiving a $154,246 grant from the Coastal Bend Bays and Estuaries Program — the donation protects its education programs and keeps resident animals from being relocated. KRIS 6 News

- ➤ Nueces County Commissioners approved an amended road deal for Tesla’s Robstown lithium facility; Tesla will fund stronger subsurface construction and extra road work near County Road 77 (with completion now set for July 2027). KRIS 6 News
- ➤ Corpus Christi demolished a dangerous home on 11th Street after over a year of delays from budget cuts and beehive issues troubled neighbors. White Star Services donated its demolition services — helping clear the longstanding hazard near local homes. KRIS 6 News
- ➤ 600 ft of HDPE pipe arrived at the Evangeline groundwater site in San Patricio County this afternoon + it is the first shipment in a series that will deliver 90% of 30 miles of pipeline by the end of July; the pipe was made in South Carolina. Action 10 News
