- ➤ Tickets are on sale for the Corpus Christi Car Show, which will be held at the American Bank Center on April 12 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.; registration fees will support Bikes For Kids Corpus Christi and free t-shirts go to the first 50 vehicles registered by April 1. - ➤ The Robstown community gathered for its 3rd Annual Autism Awareness Walk to celebrate inclusion and support individuals on the spectrum. Organized by the Robstown Police Department + Robstown ISD, the event brought together families, first responders and local sponsors to build connection and understanding. KRIS 6 News

- ➤ Coastal Bend College named Cesar Maldonado interim president; he will begin on Monday (April 7) and serve until Aug. 31. The college also launched a national search for a new president after Justin Hoggard resigned in March and will remain as president emeritus until June 6. Caller Times
- ➤ Coastal Bend College has launched Cougar Care and Will programs on its four campuses to help students cope with mental health challenges and meet needs for food insecurity and transportation—efforts aimed at reducing stress and preventing burnout. KRIS 6 News
- ➤ The Texas Education Agency ruled it can release the 2023 school district ratings after a 19-month legal battle that challenged changes to the accountability system — a separate lawsuit for 2024 ratings is still pending.
