- ➤ On Easter, first responders and Bishop residents joined in a playful water balloon war that brought smiles and stronger community bonds. Bishop Police and county constable offices filled a truck with 700 water balloons for the event and promised to return next year with even more fun—showing local support in a memorable way. - ➤ Pope Francis died peacefully at his residence in Casa Santa Marta after battling pneumonia, and CCISD is considering closing two elementary schools due to declining enrollment and aging facilities while a District 2 town hall meeting is set for April 24 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Greenwood Senior Center.
