- ➤ Ten-year-old Liam Logan donated $500 to the Rockport Volunteer Fire Department after the Salt Flats Fire burned 157 acres and damaged homes. His family’s garage sale raised the money, which will help repair equipment—like brush trucks—damaged in the blaze. KIII-TV
- ➤ Robstown Animal Control reported it is running low on dog food while caring for 25 dogs and is asking locals to donate food & monetary support before hurricane season hits.
