- ➤ City leaders have shared updated designs and a projected timeline (construction beginning January 2027 with a summer opening) for a new skate park designed for riders of all ages. The project received $700,000 in funding nearly seven months ago and aims to provide a safe outdoor space. KIII-TV

- ➤ Recent rain in April raised Lake Texana's capacity to 76%, delaying a projected water crisis from September until December in Corpus Christi. City officials will vote on an emergency water-use plan June 2 to address critical shortfalls in other reservoirs. The Texas Tribune
