Anthony Goralczyk, a 20-year veteran rescuer, said his team uses kinetic ropes and soft shackles and will be working on Padre Island during Memorial Day Weekend—a service that spares drivers the high fees charged by commercial operators. - ➤ The district attorney’s office sentenced two Texas Syndicate gang members—Jesse Martinez to 30 years and Gabriel Galindo to 24 years with five years probation—after they pleaded guilty on January 2 to distributing methamphetamine and heroin in a drug trafficking investigation that began in 2020 in Corpus Christi.
