- ➤ Steven Pierce will step down as executive director of Habitat for Humanity Corpus Christi on July 16, ending his leadership that began late last year. Ben Molina will serve as interim executive director—leading the board search for a permanent replacement. Action 10 News
- ➤ Volunteer Jonathon McComb from Corpus Christi is aiding TEXSAR in the Hill Country flood as emergency crews use boats and helicopters to reach stranded residents—he lost his wife and children in the 2015 Blanco River flood. - ➤ A woman is in critical condition after she was shot on Gulf Beach Road on the Fourth of July — she was hospitalized immediately for treatment. KIII-TV
