- ➤ The city of Corpus Christi will begin rebuilding Huntwick Avenue in front of H-E-B plus! on Monday, July 14th to improve road conditions and safety. The $954,452 project will add new concrete pavement, sidewalks, curb ramps, signage and drainage improvements—motorists should follow posted detour signs as work finishes by November. KIII-TV
- ➤ Drivers on Corpus Christi’s Westside are frustrated by a deep road cut on Barrera Drive near Horne Road that was only temporarily patched before; city officials said the cut will receive a permanent repair within the next two weeks+ weather permitting. Residents continue to express concern as the repair process moves slowly and their safety is challenged. KRIS 6 News
