- ➤ The Crossroads Outlet Mall welcomed hundreds of visitors this weekend for its first-ever Market Days event — where over 50 local vendors sold handmade crafts, clothing and food. Organizer Natalie Nava said she hopes the event will become a monthly tradition to boost local business. KRIS 6 News
- ➤ Agape Ranch marked 11 years of offering safe, sibling-friendly homes and support to foster families in Nueces County. Guided tours of new homes were held and State Rep. Denise Villalobos, a foster parent, said the mission is a godsend + more homes are expected by year-end. KIII-TV
- ➤ On July 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Bend will host its second annual Back to School Bash at 3902 Greenwood Drive where free school supplies, haircuts, eye exams, and physicals will be offered. - ➤ Corpus Christi City Council revised its public comment rules again after confusion at the July 15 meeting. The new rules—effective July 22—allow residents to speak on agenda items without signing up and require a sign-up for the 5:30 p.m. public comment session while meeting agendas will be posted on Wednesdays starting Sept. 1.
