- ➤ Border Patrol agents seized 72 pounds of cocaine valued at over $2.3 million during a checkpoint inspection south of Kingsville on July 26—after a K-9 alert directed agents to drugs hidden in the ceiling of a 2012 Freightliner tractor-trailer, leading to the arrest of the U.S. citizen driver.
