- ➤ Corpus Christi International Airport will offer new nonstop flights to Denver when Frontier Airlines launches twice-weekly service on Thursdays and Sundays starting Oct. 10. The first flight from Denver will arrive at 5:30 p.m.—and the first departure from Corpus Christi will take off at 6:45 p.m. KRIS 6 News
- ➤ Aerus Airlines’ non-stop flights to Monterrey remain delayed as airport officials say the carrier is finalizing a partnership with another airline—service was scheduled to launch on March 1 but has not begun due to pending approvals. KRIS 6 News
- ➤ Corpus Christi THC shop owners now comply with new state regulations from Gov. Abbott's executive order—customers must be 21 or older and sales near schools, churches and sensitive locations are banned. The rule change aims to add clarity and stability for businesses after a year of uncertainty. KRIS 6 News
- ➤ Copeland's Dive Shop closed after 67 years on South Padre Island Drive— the Copeland family is seeking a buyer to keep the local diving legacy alive. KRIS 6 News

- ➤ Corpus Christi City Council met to explore new ways to deliver the Inner Harbor Desalination project that was stopped last month—council members also reviewed updates on groundwater wells and wastewater recycling options for the city's water supply.
