- ➤ Corpus Christi officials explained how sales taxes collected from purchases are used to fund city services—funding for road work, public safety, and other essential needs is detailed in the breakdown. The explanation helps residents see where their dollars are spent. Caller Times
- ➤ Port Aransas has hired a full-time beach officer — the move is aimed at enforcing rules and reducing violations as visitor numbers surge. The officer will patrol the beachfront to ensure safety amid growing tourism. KIII-TV
