- ➤ Corpus Christi city leaders will discuss awarding a $3,448,147 contract to Weaver & Jacobs Constructors for phase 1 of Commodore Park improvements on Tuesday. The project will add a basketball pavilion, tennis and pickleball courts, a playground, picnic area, bird blind, and more — with construction set to begin in November and complete by August.
