  • Corpus Christi residents are boosting package security by installing doorbell cameras, lockboxes and using trusted neighbors to collect deliveries amid rising online shopping.   • Corpus Christi residents can drop off unwanted items at the Litter Critter cleanup on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at W.B. Ray High School’s parking lot + access cardboard recycling; residents must load their items themselves as commercial hauling is not allowed.  Action 10 News

  • Del Mar College approved a second round of its tuition waiver program today, expanding support services & opening opportunities in both degree and continuing-ed programs for local students. The decision aims to make higher education more accessible in our community.  KIII-TV
  • CCISD held its second community meeting today as it considers closing seven campuses to address a $27.5M deficit — parents and students voiced concerns and sought clarity on next steps.  KIII-TV

  • The Sinton Pirates will face West Orange-Stark at 7 p.m. Friday at Katy’s Rhodes Stadium — a state semifinal game that will test their run-stopping defense. The winner advances to the championship at AT&T Stadium — taking on Carthage or Brock next week.  KIII-TV
